Microsoft Windows XP's days are numbered. Starting July 1st, 2008, Microsoft will completely end distribution of Windows XP to retail outlets and large computer
suppliers such as Dell and Hewlett Packard. As a Microsoft Certified System Builder, J&N Computer Services will be permitted to continue selling Windows XP based systems until January, 2009.
We like the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system. If it is installed correctly, and meets the basic system requirements, it works well and looks beautiful. The
recent release of Service Pack 1 (SP1) has also helped improve performance and compatibility. There is some software, however, that may never run correctly under WIndows Vista.
We recommend that you check with your software manufacturer before purchasing a system with Windows Vista in order to make sure your software is Vista compatible. If it
isn't supported under Vista, you may have no choice but to continue with XP for as long as possible.
We will build you an excellent new system, using the latest components and newest drivers, that will maximize the speed and processing power of Windows XP Home, Professional, or XP 64 bit. Since computers typically last 3 to 5 years, this will give you some added time before having
to replace old software. Our systems come with official Microsoft media (CD-ROM) and authenticity sticker on side of the case.
If you need help in deciding which computer is right for you, call us! Our sales people know computers and will work with you to tailor a system that is exactly suited to your needs. We don't believe in pushing a sale, so, if you need to call us a few times before you are ready to buy, that is fine with us.
Once your system is built, it is extensively tested before moving on to our packaging and shipping department. There it will be put into a heavy duty carton with high-quality 2" foam surrounding it on all sides.
Once you receive the system, we're here to help you with any setup questions you may have! You'll be surprised at how quickly our service technicians handle your call. You will be treated with respect - we know you wouldn't be calling tech support if you didn't have an issue.
